Wayfair Shopping for Your Airbnb... A Designer's Take

I'm sure you've heard of Wayfair. This retail giant sells just about every home good imaginable (plus probably a few that you couldn't even imagine!). Whether your style is Modern Cottage, Contemporary Coastal, or anything in between, Wayfair has some products to help you achieve your interior design goals.

As with many larger brands, Wayfair isn't a manufacturer. They're a furniture supplier, and they offer brands of varying quality and price. So, ALWAYS pay close attention to reviews before you 'add to cart'.

And make sure that you make a solid plan before you let yourself loose online. The overwhelm can be real when faced with so many choices! Ok friend, let's dive in and shop some of my favorite Wayfair finds! We'll start with a board of my tried and tested go-tos, then move on to a room-by-room breakdown, with a quick detour via Birch Lane, one of Wayfairs brands, along the way!

As mentioned, Wayfair has a family of brands, and several sites fall under their umbrella. All Modern, Joss & Main, and Birch Lane are all part of one big happy Wayfair family and are all favorites of mine, so the links in the boards below may take you to one of these sister brands. Sometimes Joss& Main and Birtch Lane will be a higher price point but the quality is worth it.

Birch Lane has a really pared-back offering compared with Wayfair which makes shopping a lot easier. In my experience, it offers really excellent value for money and the reviews are consistently great. I've thrown together a few of my favorite picks on the board below...

Entryway

I'm a big fan of the Chris Loves Julia Loloi rugs on Wayfair, like the one in the entryway board below. They are a nice flat weave, which is excellent for a rental, they're priced really well, and they come in loads of sizes. It's a win-win-win.
